Common questions

Is it legal to send money to Cuba from the US or Canada?+

Yes — through the right structure. Your donation goes to our North American nonprofit partner, which purchases equipment and works with a licensed on-the-ground installer under humanitarian provisions. You never send funds directly to Cuba.

How do I know a kit was actually installed?+

Within about 30 days of your donation, you get an email with a photo of the install, the household's first name, and a unique install ID you can reference anytime.

Can I fund a specific family or town?+

You can add a dedication at checkout. When possible, we route the kit to that family or region; if not, we'll tell you where it went instead.

Is my donation tax-deductible?+

For US donors, yes — our fiscal sponsor is a registered 501(c)(3) and you'll receive a receipt by email immediately after checkout.
